Nestled in a cocks comb basin of the Stann Creek district in Belize. Only a short drive from Placencia to the entrance where we get our tickets, then another few minutes drive into the jungle from there. Once on the reserve your guide will give a proper briefing of their activities, (there is an initial hike, then lunch, river tubing, waterfall swim and possible rock sliding)this tour is very adventurous and educational! while engaging with wildlife you’ll be tracking through the well-groom paths under the jungle canopy, you’ll learn about the real king of the jungle “ek baalum !” You’ll hear of how this area came to be a sanctuary for these magnificent Cats and an ever so popular area for hiking, camping, birding and other adventures.
